Uh Oh — Puppy

Should we get a puppy?

Let’s make a list.

Con:

There already is a great dog here who is 11 (and bossy with other dogs)

There’s an old, sick cat, too

There will be a lot of crying in the beginning and sleepless nights (mine)

There will be teething

Things will get destroyed — hide the shoes

It’s February, very cold and snowing

There will be running, peeing and pooping indoors

It will be hard to housebreak due to the weather and snow higher than the dog’s chest

The breed is a little big

The breed needs lots of exercise

I’ve had recent spine surgery

I’m, no spring chicken

Pro:

The puppy (like all puppies) is cute

Arghhh!
