Meet Ken — virtually — when he speaks near you.
Ken samples the licorice-like fragrance of a yellow-green leaved llicium parviflorum ‘Florida Sunshine’ — gold star-anise.

Celebrate a Garden State Gardener and Rutgers Gardens
Join Rutgers Gardens in a fundraiser celebrating Ken Druse, New Jersey’s best-known garden author of 20 books on the subject.
The celebration will include a video tour of Ken in his Sussex County garden – followed by a live question & answer session with Ken.
This fundraiser will support Rutgers Gardens as a place of peace, beauty, and safety for enjoyment by all of our visitors. Celebrate a Garden State Gardener is a one-time special event during the COVID-19 pandemic spearheaded by the Advisory Board to help demonstrate Rutgers Gardens is an example of the Rutgers Land Grant mission of teaching, research, and service in the 21st Century.
