You asked for comments in your podcast today. I am a filmmaker and amateur gardener with a garden in the woods of the Laurentians in Quebec. I found you via Margaret Roach’s podcast. I just made chicken marbella and corn salsa while listening to your podcast about floods. Sometimes I listen to you while running. I love your show.
My garden is a challenge – it’s a summer only cottage with two metres of snow in winter. I have a wisteria that I bury in a grave every winter and dig it up every spring. I’m thinking about leaving it be this winter and maybe covering it with fleece. Not sure if that’s crazier than the annual burial.
I write a blog (Dear England, Love Canada) and can be found @viewfromalake on instagram and twitter.
Keep up the good work!
