The Perennial
Diva
Stephanie Cohen
is my guest this week, and as usual, she is funny and thoroughly charming.
Stephanie is a well-known perennial plant expert. Her prominence in the
industry is evident in the numerous plants that have been named for her, including
the daylily ‘Stephanie Returns’ pictured on the cover of the catalog she is
holding (left).
Stephanie has
taught herbaceous plants and perennial design at Temple University for over 20
years. She was the founder and director of the Landscape Arboretum at Temple
University, Ambler, PA. She is a contributing editor for Fine Gardening
magazine, The HGTV Newsletter, and writes for Green Scene, the publication of the Pennsylvania
Horticultural Society.
Be on the
lookout for the Diva’s next book due this May on the topic of filling the gaps
during the quiet times in the garden’s season: The NonStop Garden. www.theperennialdiva.com

Beavers are interesting, but I thought this was about Stephanie Cohen. I ran out of time waiting to hear her.
