Want to attract birds, butterflies and other "desirable" wildlife to your garden? We talk about some of the beautiful (in other words, "ornamental") native shrubs and flowers that will bring them to your garden. Also, when it comes to attractive, native plants, there is one that causes many of us serious allergic reactions: posion ivy. Ken talks about his favorite product for preventing rashes when exposed to this plant and ways for coping with and/or removing the plant from you property.
Many of the plants that birds love are problem plants, with invasive tendencies in many habitats. Ken implores all gardeners to learn about these plants and to not contribute to the problem–to not add these plants to the landscape.
